Civil Litigation Paralegal

Latitude is seeking a civil litigation paralegal with at least 2+ years of law firm or corporate legal department experience to join an Am Law 100 law firm in Charleston. Candidate must be able to handle all paralegal responsibilities within the litigation life cycle. Candidate must excel at working in a high energy environment with great attention to detail and possess exceptional oral and written communication skills. Candidate must possess the demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Requirements of the Civil Litigation Paralegal:

2+ years of litigation experience with a law firm and/or a corporate legal department
Strong knowledge of court rules, calendaring and e-filing procedures
Excellent organization, and communication skills
Outstanding references required

Position Details of the Civil Litigation Paralegal:

We place legal professionals in permanent, temporary, and flexible roles. Latitude Engaged Professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and, if located in the United States, are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours or more per week, including complimentary Group Life, Long term disability, AD&D, and a qualified 401k plan (subject to a qualifying period).
